With a career spanning over three and a half decades, Sudhir Kumar Srivastav has been at the forefront of India's power sector transformation. A business leader with end-to-end ownership of procurement, commercial operations, vigilance, regulatory affairs, compliance, operations & maintenance, works & planning, quality control, and material management — his journey encompasses roles from grassroots technical operations at NTPC Singrauli to national-level policy implementation at the Ministry of Power.
Deployed as a Distribution Expert to Power Finance Corporation for over 12 years, he was instrumental in executing Government of India's flagship programs on power distribution reform — IPDS and RAPDRP. His tenure as Advisor cum Consultant to the Ministry of Power for Distribution Reforms further cemented his reputation as a practitioner who bridges the gap between policy vision and on-ground execution.
Today, as Director (Commercial & Technical) at MPMKVVCL, he leads commercial operations and technical strategy for one of Madhya Pradesh's key distribution companies. An Accredited Energy Auditor (BEE), Harvard Manage Mentor alumnus, and published researcher on frequency-based billing using smart meters for grid stability, his legacy is one of technical precision anchored in strategic governance.
